Raceworz Recap

Where do we begin?

Raceworz 2024 was a blast! Friday June 21st we arrived at Sonoma Raceway around 6:45 the gates opened for all the drivers to head over to their pit areas and set up for the night. After we were all finished with setting up, we hung out with our fellow racers and shared a few laughs before headed to bed.

Saturday morning our newest sponsor Mad Dad Philly's who's based out of Atlanta Georgia, flew in to watch how team D&M Racing operates at the track. Shortly after Mieshael's presence was wanted by many family members, friends, and new fans. At 11:45 we called to the staging lanes to make our first qualifying passes with the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mods Association. Mieshael made a clean burnout, she slept on the tree a little bit, and also we had a little bit of traction issues. we weren't able to make a clean pass, but still had one more qualifying pass at 4:30 p.m.. We noticed that the track temps were even hotter later on in the evening which caused Mieshael to experience her first tire shake in the left lane. We weren't able to get any good data on either of the runs, but we knew that we'd have a promising Sunday for first round.

Sunday around 9:45 we attended the chip draw of first round with the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association, where we drew left lane being the fourth pair against Rick Worth Batmobile Camaro. We lost first round of the A wining side due to more tire shake and the track being tricky. Luckily we were able go over to B side, in which if you loose in A you'd have a chance to win on the B side. We made some adjustments before the first round of the B side and ended up drawing the right lane, pair four against Dave and his blue twin turbo firebird. We had a little bit of tire shake, but was able to make a clean pass and move on to the semi finals. Semifinals we took on Rod Burbage with his black and burgundy . Mieshael Managed to cut a good light, but was out horse powered by Burbage's blown Chevrolet Nova.

Overall team D&M Racing had a successful weekend full of joy and pure excitement.

We'd like to thank our sponsors Mad Dad Philly Authentic Cheesesteak, Hoosier, Fogit, Blaster Products, & High Performance Lubricants.

A special thanks to Chris Limpin for hosting Raceworz at Sonoma Raceway. We look forward at attending 2025 Raceworz.

Also we'd like to give thanks to Both Sides of the Conversation for bringing children out from our community to be exposed to the motorsports industry. With this exposure we hope to inspire more children to get involved with motorsports and to have a different outlook on being apart of the racing.
